Beginning July 1, 2026, a 2.85% processing fee will be applied to credit & debit card payments made to the Bursar’s Office. This fee is charged by the credit card processor—not the university.

Credit card companies charge processing fees on every transaction. These fees have grown significantly over time and currently represent a meaningful cost to the university. By shifting the fee to those who choose to pay by credit card, the university can better direct its resources toward academic programs, student services and campus operations.

Yes. The university will offer a no-fee payment option: eCheck/ACH, which provides a secure, easy and cost-free way to pay tuition and fees. These options are available through the online payment system (QuikPay) and use your bank’s routing and account numbers.
There is also a no-fee option to pay in person at the Bursar’s Office using cash or check.

Yes. Many major public and private universities have implemented similar card processing fees to ensure responsible stewardship of institutional resources.

Yes. When making a payment by credit or debit card, the system will display the 2.85% processing fee amount before finalizing the transaction so you can review and choose whether to continue.

1. Log in to CIS

Navigate to the Student Homepage.
2. Select the Tuition and Loans tile
3. Authenticate into QuikPay

Choose Payment and Payment Plans.

Then select View and Pay Accounts.

Click Make a Payment.
4. Choose Your Payment Method

When prompted to select a payment method, choose "eCheck" under the "View and Pay Accounts" option in QuikPay.
5. Enter Bank Information

Enter your bank account number and routing number when requested.
