Nelnet Storefront is a University-approved E-commerce system that is an all-inclusive website for Departments to accept online payments. The storefront can sell merchandise, collect conference registration & fees, event tickets, or rentals. The benefits of using Storefront are:

  •  Storefront uses University-approved branding but can be customized to look cohesive with your department’s website.
  •  Storefront is assigned a URL that is department-specific.
  • Storefront accepts all major credit cards and e-check payments.
  • All deposits are automatically updated to your department Chartfields.
  • Cardholders are sent a confirmation email of their order.
  • Departments are notified when an order has been completed.
  • The department contact has access to transaction history through the Nelnet administrative module.

Umarket Checkout Page is the Official University of Utah E-Commerce application. The Umarket checkout page allows departments to accept online payments by all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Debit cards using a Visa or MasterCard logo is also accepted. You can connect the checkout page to your department’s website or third-party account in order to accept on-line payments.

Accepting Donations Online:

If you would like to accept donations through your website, please contact the Development Office. They must be involved with the donation process for:

a) accounting purposes

b) so your donors can receive proper tax documentation.
