Nelnet Storefront is a university-approved E-commerce system for departments to accept online payments, sell merchandise, and handle event registrations, fees, and rentals.
Benefits of Using Storefront

💰 All deposits are automatically updated to your department Chartfields.
📧 Cardholders are sent a confirmation email of their order.
🔔 Departments are notified when an order has been completed.
📊 The department contact has access to transaction history through the Nelnet administrative module.

The UMarket checkout page is the official University of Utah e-commerce application. It allows departments to accept online payments using all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo are also accepted. The checkout page can be connected to your department’s website or third-party platform to accept online payments.
Accepting Donations Online
If you would like to accept donations through your website, please contact the Development Office. Their involvement is required for:
- Accounting purposes
- Ensuring your donors receive proper tax documentation
